There is a particular kind of stuck that comes after success. Your team has an opinion. Your friends have one. The people you trust can all make a good case. The more voices you bring into the room, the harder it becomes to hear your own.
The Solo Hot Seat asks you to set aside twenty-five quiet minutes between the outside voices and the next decision: a two-minute return to your body, three rounds of questions that get harder on purpose, and one sentence spoken out loud before the session ends.
Pen and paper. Phone in another room. Nothing to perform.
I will send the session and a short series introducing the other tools. My occasional writing and text reminders remain separate choices.
You already asked me to send the recommendation and help you use it. I will not ask for the same permission again.
Open the sessionThis does not add you to my occasional writing or to text reminders. Those choices remain separate.
See all your toolsTwo minutes, body first, because the body doesn't perform. Every session in the room starts here, and so does this one.
Nine questions that get harder on purpose. What is true for you, what the decision is costing, and what you have not been willing to say. Written by hand, answered twice.
The session ends with a sentence spoken, not just written. It'll make sense when you get there.
I've spent most of my life being the person other people bring their problems to. It's a role I chose, and mostly I love it. It still took me a long time to notice what the arrangement was costing me.
I run a room where that arrangement doesn't hold. Founders, no audience to perform for, and questions that don't accept the first answer. This is a piece of that room, for one. Phone in another room, door closed, and twenty-five minutes where nobody else gets a vote.
“Eric is one of those rare individuals who can meet you exactly where you are and guide you toward a version of yourself you had not yet imagined.”
The session will not make the decision for you. It creates enough quiet to hear your own answer, understand the fear around it, and choose one next move.
